Lone Star Scoop - Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before agreeing to pet waste removal services from Lone Star Scoop. By engaging our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Services Provided
Lone Star Scoop offers pet waste removal services for both residential and commercial properties. Service options include:

One-Time Clean
-
Weekly Clean
-
Bi-Weekly Clean
-
2 Times A Week Clean
Pricing is based on the size of the service area and the number of dogs. Additional charges may apply for larger areas.
2. Access to Your Yard
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that Lone Star Scoop has access to the service area. If access is blocked by locked gates, dogs in the yard, or other obstacles, the service will be skipped, and the customer will still be charged. You may provide gate combinations or a lock key to avoid this issue. A return visit can be scheduled for an additional $5 fee.
3. Yard Conditions
Yard conditions, such as tall grass, excessive leaves, or debris, may affect our ability to locate and remove all waste. We strive for thorough cleaning, but please inform us at services@lonestarscoop.com if a significant amount of waste is missed due to these conditions.
4. Billing and Payments

Payments for one-time cleanups are due upon completion of service.

Monthly services are billed on the 1st of each month. If payment is not received by the 3rd, a $10 late fee will be applied, and services may be paused.

Recurring service payments: Monthly fees are based on a 52-week year, averaged over 12 months. No additional charges apply for months with five weeks.

If service is paused for more than 30 days, an initial cleanup fee will apply upon resumption.
When linking a debit or credit card in the portal, a $1.50 test transaction will be performed for verification purposes. No funds will be deducted from your account.
5. Service Schedule and Holidays
Lone Star Scoop operates year-round and provides service in all safe weather conditions. However, services will be skipped on the following holidays:

Christmas Day

New Year’s Day
If your service falls on a holiday, it will be skipped and resumed the following week. No refunds will be issued for holiday skips.
Shutdown Period: We reserve the right to pause operations between Christmas and New Year’s Day. Monthly billing will continue unless you inform us that you’ve handled waste removal during this period.
6. Weather Conditions
We perform services in various weather conditions, including rain and snow. However, severe weather such as thunderstorms, high winds, extreme temperatures, or snow accumulation may prevent service. In such cases, your service will be skipped for that week and resumed the following week. No refunds will be provided, as waste removal for skipped weeks will be completed during the next service.
7. Dangerous Pets
Lone Star Scoop is comfortable working with pets, but if a dog is aggressive or prevents yard access, the service will be skipped, and you will still be charged for that visit. We will attempt to notify you before skipping the service.
8. Additional Fees
The following additional fees may apply:

Cleaning/sanitizing waste from decks, patios, or sidewalks: $5/visit

Come-back requests: $5/visit

Cleaning rock/pebble areas: $3/visit

Waiting fee: $5/visit if we are required to wait to perform the service
9. Cancellation and Pausing Services
You may cancel services with 48 hours’ notice via phone or by updating your plan in the client portal. If service is paused, an initial cleanup fee will apply upon resumption.
If cancellation occurs mid-month, you will be refunded for any unused portion of the month. Refunds will be processed to the payment method on file.
10. Privacy Policy
Lone Star Scoop collects personal information such as your name, email, phone number, and address. This information is used solely to provide our services and will not be shared with third parties except for payment processing or as required by law.
11. Revisions to Terms
Lone Star Scoop reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on our website and become effective immediately. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
