Hi, I’m Kevin Doxtater, the founder of Lone Star Scoop, a leading dog poop removal service in San Antonio. The inspiration for this business began in 2024 when I noticed the struggles my sister faced as a single mother with three kids, one cat, and five dogs. Managing pet waste was overwhelming, and I realized it wasn’t just about cleaning—it was about reclaiming her yard, time, and peace of mind. Seeing her challenges, I recognized a real need for a reliable pet waste removal service, and that’s how Lone Star Scoop was born.
A Bit About Me
I grew up as an army brat, constantly moving around the world and the country, which taught me the importance of adaptability and resilience.
For most of my adult life, I managed million dollar retail stores in Colorado—a role that taught me a lot about customer service, business management, and the value of honesty and integrity. But no matter where I was, I always felt the pull of home. In 2023, I made the move back to San Antonio to be closer to my family.
Since coming back, I’ve been busy helping my dad with his leadership development company, running an online store, and even selling windows and siding. But I always knew I wanted to build something of my own—something that would make a tangible difference in people’s lives. That’s when I founded Lone Star Scoop, with a vision to provide professional pet waste removal services that make life easier for families like yours.
